Illuminated kickplates
Hi all,
I have an ‘18 E300 and I would like illuminated lick plates on the front door sills.

do any of you happen to know if the cars are pre-wired for illuminated kickplates? Just curious if it is as easy as a plug and play type of thing or if the conversion of extensive

Mercedes does not install wiring like this to the car unless the option is ordered from the factory.

There is however a retrofit guide on WIS. Not exactly straightforward as the wiring needs to go across the cabin and to the fuse box etc. but still doable.

Can't they simply be piggy backed off their respective door puddle light wiring?
