Macchiato/Saddle
Building a new wagon. Anyone know why you can't get rear heated seats with this gorgeous leather combination? I suspect you can and it's just a configurator issue.
Also, possible to get black dynamica headliner instead of the Macchiato?
Only wish the steering wheel was black and it wasn't that sorta tacky looking quilted leather.

This interior is so hot. I only wish they did a black headliner, carpets and steering wheel/column. (Oftentimes, designers go just a little too far. This is exactly what happened here. Subtle is usually better when unsure.)
Anyone with this interior not have it wrecked in a few months? If it were just me riding in this car I wouldn't have to worry. Can you wear jeans and not have the dye transfer onto these seats? Would need to get them treated with a ceramic coating.
Separately, the team in charge of the new steering wheel design should be fired. What an abortion.

@Streamliner has this interior in his wagon. I believe some owners have swapped in expresso colored floor mats to reduce dirt in the cabin, but the headliner is not available in any other color. Not sure about the rear heated seats, your dealer should be able to answer that one.

^^^Thank you!
Separately, it's annoying that the only way to get full leather interior and dinamica headliner is to get macchiato/saddle, a very polarizing and impractical interior choice. I absolutely love it though. Must be paired with either dark wood or natural wood IMHO. I'm leaning toward the burl walnut. But in the end, I'm not sure if I can get this interior as I'm too worried it'll like like trash in a year or two.

I never had a problem with the crystal grey leather in W212 E63 or now with beige W213 E63 and blue Levi jeans rubbing off on the leather. They do get dirty from time to time, but easy to clean with some Meguair leather wipes, takes just a few mins.

I always put a large towel on the seat to protect the leather from clothing dye and from scuffing. Why a towel? Because the seats have air bags in them and there are no seat covers that are comparable or accommodate that safety feature.
