2017 E400 Wagon Center Vent Removal
I have one of those magnetic phone clips that I put on my vent. I was replacing it, but it wouldn't come off, and I pulled too hard and one of the vent flaps broke.
I've tried to figure out how to remove the vent for replacement, but can't figure it out! You Tube has some stuff, but doesn't really cover the E400.
Anyone know how to remove this one vent for replacement?

OMG - I thought these might just pop out and make for an easy replacement. Thanks so much. I’ll need to decide if I want to try to tackle this or not!

About how long should I allocate for this? I’m retired and have plenty of time and limited experience at taking apart dashes.
My biggest fear is getting started and stuck in the middle of the project!!

I would definitely recommend not starting it, instead paying to get it done. There are a that can go wrong.

You’re probably 100% correct. These things are great until you get hung up on something, can’t get it put back together, or miss a step someplace. Really makes me mad that I pulled too hard on a $12 phone clip! Thanks for your guidance!
