Cross posted since the CLS form doesn't get much attention.

Anything I need to know?
Anything I need to be looking for or looking out for?
Anything to nitpick during negotiations?

Great engine - 3.0L TT M276 V6. Check for oil leak at front cylinder head covers that hold the cam magnets. Common leak from the factory, easily fixable by the dealer but seller should pay or adjust price by $750.

Body, chassis, electrical same as W213.

Look for MB-Tex cracking, it seems to affect E-Class (CLS) more than other models. Besides V167 of course.

Check for full service history. Spark plugs should have been done at 50k miles. If they haven't been done, seller should adjust price by $750.

Option content hopefully is good: LED headlamps, ambient lighting, parktronic.

The 2019 CLS is of the C257 platform, the CLS of this generation uses the M256 Inline-6 engine, not the M275 V6.

My bad! I missed the platform change. The 3.0TT V6 comment therefore does not apply.

To @N_Jay the 2019 CLS450 has the 48V mild hybrid system, which has been problematic on several platforms including CLS. I would not own any 48V MB, especially one with an expired warranty.

Look for a 2019 E450 W213 with 3.0L TT. No 48V system and robust (for Mercedes) engine.
