Price is not out of line, fewer of these E63 wagons are on the market, I keep looking at CPO's and there were but five on their the other day. My reluctance to pull the trigger is directly related to 'why do I need the extra horsepower' over my 2019 E450 wagon, which goes just as fast as I want to. That being said, the lust factor for this wagon variant is quite high.
I think I saw the same one for sale a few weeks ago as I was looking around. Beautiful vehicle. I haven't seen many of them under 95k especially with such few miles. If all the buttons and track pad from that center console weren't there on all the Benz models from the 2010s I would already have purchased one by now. That's why I like the new interior so much more but this is a beast of a car. I bet it'd be super fun to own and drive.

I have a 2017 E400 and it can get me in enough trouble, although the thought of the 63s is always lurking. When I got the E400 I was surprised and amazed by how quick it is, my mind can't get around how much quicker the 63s is. still in awe.

I agree. When I first bought my E450, the first thing I thought the car needed was a tune (looked into Eurocharged for an additional 100+bhp). But after driving this car for almost 1 year now, I think it is fast enough for me, and I won't need any tune. So, yes, the E63S is alluring and a beast, but the 450 or even the 350 is plenty fast enough for 99% of owners... Speaking from experience, my first MB was a R171 SLK55 AMG. That beast got me into way too much traffic tickets, which my R172 350 doesn't. Knock on wood. The temptation to go fast is reduced, I guess...
I've had both, had a 2018 E63 amg wagon and sold after just a year. Managed to get a 2019 E450 for a great price new and the car is plenty fast enough and more comfortable than the E63 AMG. I found the ride extremely harsh in the E63. No regrets my E450 is a long term keeper, I actually enjoy driving it more than I did the E63, the E63 was jumpy and harsh. Yes, extremely fast but the type of driving I do is sitting in slow moving traffic a lot of the time and the E450 is much more fuel efficient.
