I have a 2018 E300, and I’m looking for a drivers side headlight assembly. Looking online but it seems there’s such a big gap between the dealer prices and assemblies i’m finding it on eBay and other sites, kinda wondering why there’s such a big gap, and knowing Mercedes there’s probably so many different parts to the headlight assembly I have to lookout for, as well as coding and all that extra stuff. Is there any way I can have any help? Thanks.

If you do not have the adaptive headlights then you do not need to code anything. If the headlight does not work after you swap it, it's either a bad headlight, or you need to swap the control unit from your old headlight to the new one so the ECU recognizes it.
I’ve replaced the bi xenon headlights on my clk before and the hella replacements were half as much as you would get from the dealer. Actually even the 2 piece 360mm brembo rotors on eBay were easily half as much. Was never sure why when they are the same part. I always assumed maybe because they were being directly sourced from Europe regardless of the sellers location.
How would I be able to tell whether I have adaptive headlights or not? Is there a website I could put my vin to see, or is there another way? Please let me know

So I'm guessing that this means I do not have adaptive headlights. Also if not, am I alright purchasing the headlamp on eBay or carparts.com, using caution of course?
Also, do I have to lookout for if there's a module on the headlamp assembly ,or if it's included?
