P219E , need vehicle fixed ASAP
Hello all, new Mercedes owner here, recently bought a 2021 E350. Check engine light came up just two weeks after purchasing car, took to the Mercedes dealership and they diagnosed and said it’s the cylinder itself and quoted me $9500 for parts and labor.
I need this car fixed ASAP, active duty military and I have to drive from Florida to California.
Fault codes:
P030085
P030385
P219E77
P1CE577
P1CEF85
these are the codes the Service Advisor said.
went to autozone and had free Check engine light check prior and the only thing that popped up was a P219E code for Air to fuel ratio imbalance.
Symptoms:
Engine Misfired and was shaking pretty bad, happened once, hasn’t happened in a few days. Done quite a bit of research and I’m thinking the three things I’ve boiled it down to could be the
1. Spark plugs
2. MAF sensor
3. O2 Sensor/s
this is just off of research but I would definitely appreciate any knowledge or advice from the MB Masters. I literally know nothing about cars.

Is it the #1 cylinder? Did the car have any engine issue on carfax? Any tune on the car?
Hopefully its nothing serious like a cracked piston, block or header.

im planning on taking it to a euro shop nearby soon, the service Advisor just said the cylinder itself needed to be replaced. Sent me an invoice with like 20 parts that are part of the repair.

no it’s cylinder #3, no issues on carfax and no tune. I’m also hoping it’s nothing serious, I might be in denial bc I’m telling myself it can’t be something that serious since the car is fairly new.

does your exhaust smoke up or the exhaust turned color, like dark grey, brown or black? Agree with other post, need second opinion on cylinder replacment. I am guessing they mean replacing the cylinder lining and the rings or rebuilding cylinder #3.
