Garmin pilot actual position

Is the position is correct at another distant location? I had a Garmin Street Pilot Color 25 years ago that acted in a similar fashion. Many times my track was 50' parallel to the road. The Garmin map was the source of the problem. The problem would either go away or pop up at a different location after each map update. Keep in mind that GPS accuracy is about 7 meters 95% of the time. Sometimes accuracy can be 4 meters or better, but it is a moving target that is dependent upon atmospheric conditions. GPS shows an approximate location, not an exact location.
FWIW I check my GPS location coordinates every morning using my cell phone. Though the phone is in the same exact physical position, the GPS position is never the same 2 days in a row.

If your position is within the 7 meter (23 ft.) envelope, GPS is working within specs. Keepng in mind that conditions are not static. Position repeatibility better than 7 meters is not something that you should expect especially with inexpensive consumer grade equipment.

Iam sure it's more then 7m, my estimation is about 15-20m. If I am not wrong, 7m corresponds to the circle range around the arrow(cursor)?

That means the circle around the cursor is 14m (46') diameter.

If the circle is 14m, and the circle is not touching the road, i.e. the road is far away behind the circle, it's definetely much more then specs. But ok, if there is no module or anything that might have gone wrong, I can give it a try and replace my card.
