I just went out and checked. On my 2019 E300 (USA version) I went into configurations and where yours says eco start stop mine says ESP.

I don't have an issue with start/stop because it doesn't cycle when the A/C is running (11 months of the year).
I also have the ESP menu, not a start/stop menu.

It was just for fun I really don't have time for it so I just decided to delete it.
But one cool thing I'm doing now is I can watch YouTube videos while the car is driving I just do music video so I keep my eyes on the road, looks good on the big E300 screen 😀

EVO may well be necessary...
Besides canceling ECO to preserve coolant hoses from extreme pressure during heatsoaks,
Engine Cut-Off seems to be used to calibrate battery charge condition so ECU can charge AGM to its liking.
Meaning keep an eye on Volts+ Amps display while driving if you never use ECO to refresh battery stats.
