2018 E400 Sedan mbrace Issues
I'm trying to get mbrace setup in my new-to-me 2018 E400 sedan, but no luck. They say it's active, and can tell I've pressed the "i" button. The car has LTE. The app shows my car, but none of the functions ever work. MB keeps saying they're trying to figure it out, but they never get back to me. I've called multiple times, they always have me delete my app, account, etc. with the same results.
If anyone has any ideas on things I could check, or tell them to check, that would be great! I mainly just want to remote start, so if this fails maybe they can give me a refund and I'll look into third-party solutions.

There are two apps. MBrace and Mercedes ME. You have to use the MBrace app for a 2018. I recently purchased a 2017 and went down the pathe to get it setup. The dealership didn't have any clue (no surprise there). I learned that I could get it setup by pressing the "i" button and calling MB to "activate" it for me after paying $350 for a 3 years service. Once they did, most of the features started working later that day. However, remote start has only worked twice. That was like two months ago now at this point. I can lock the doors, locate the car, send locations to the nav, and honk the horn and flash the lights but no remote start for me.

I see, that is true, they replaced the app, it was an app by MBUSA now MB AG is in charge of the new app.
FWIW, I tried my remote start again this morning and the silly thing actually worked! I guess just talking about it on an internet forum caused it to act correctly!

I feel like this thing is just flakey, so I might still look into third party options.
I haven't heard anything back from them, but oh a whim this morning I hit remote start... And it started! I just tried to get the vehicle location though, and it doesn't work. I'll try starting it again later when it's not closed up in the garage.

Well I can't get it to work a second time! I also missed a call from MB today, though they didn't leave a message. When I have more time I'll check in with them again and see what they say.
