I am trying to upgrade all 4 windows on my 18 W213 from regular/acoustic to laminated glass. For who doesn't know the laminated is constructed of two plies of glass which are bonded together with interlayers to form a permanent bond so basically makes it hard to break, it will be just like the windshield.
Anyway, I am doing research to find out the correct number number for these parts however I am getting mixed results as some of the regular glass is labeled laminated. For example some of the sellers are selling door glass with this marking on it as a laminated glass, I can confirm that this is not laminated as I do have the same glass on my vehicle: Regular (non laminated) glass marking
Taking as an example the driver side door glass I am coming up with three different part numbers :
213-720-84-02-64
213-725-01-10
238-725-01-00
Not clear which one is the laminated one.
If you have a vehicle with laminated windows please chime in or if you have any ideas to clear up the confusion please help.

Thank you for that, could you also confirm that the edges of the glass are looking like a two pieces put together (sandwich looking) ?
I am not a MB expert but i work a lot with glass. I noticed that you called your current side glass as "regular/acoustic". Generally, acoustic performance of glass is enhanced using laminated glass. It is the soft "interlayer" (the vinyl between two sheets of glass) that provides the sound deadning. Solid glass, even if tempered, is generally not considered "acoustic". But your post has gotten me interested in deciphering the markings and notations being used. So I will research that further and let you know if I find something.

My 2020 W213 also has the laminated glass / acoustic comfort package and can confirm this info is accurate for an E with this package. It was (then) an $1100 option so if the OP is looking to add this after market it’ll likely be much higher cost. BTW, the noise insulation is good not great… it’s not like in an S, for sure.
