E300 facelifting and subwoofer...PLEASE HELP ASAP

Hello all,

Im Daniel new to the site. Ive got myself an E300, base model unfortunately...

So someone at work bumped the corner of the car and broke the headlight brackets and damaged the bumper, my boss is covering it all, so thought about making the upgrade to a facelift spec front end 2022 model look...

Im after an the E class front bumper and headlights for it to go on mine and was wondering if anyone knew if its a plug and play swap or if any extra items are required and if so then what they are?...

Additionally, with the stereo in the car being fairly basic, I wanted to know if I tap into the existing rear door card speakers for the HPF to LPF adaptor for the RCAs is this suitable in the car or does it have some sort of filter already for the bass not to carry to those speakers... and where is the Live and switch lives for the amp? Its an Aftermarket sub and amp...

Thanks all appreciate any help anyone can offer here..

Check my post on installing a DSP amplifier with factory OEM plug and play harness. No tapping, no splicing or no guessing. It’s out of this world if you’re a music lover. I even installed an overhead tweeter.

No guessing on power or fuse. Fully controllable via Bluetooth module and your phone.

Sadly, some coding (and maybe software updates) would be required- especially if changing to light assemblies from a facelift model. Keep in mind there are so many parts involved in that swap- the bumper cover has a lot of linings and assemblies attached to it. There are some people with videos on YouTube that do this as a service - Elebest comes to mind, but he is in Asia (just for an idea on what is involved).

Unless you know what you’re doing, or have a specialist workshop that can do it for you where you live, I would just stick with stock and fix it like for like (I’m biased though and prefer the look of the pre-facelift).

Good luck though, keen to follow your progress if you decide to go ahead.
