Need help with wiper blade sizes

I removed my wiper blades which are two different sizes. I don't remember which one goes on the driver's side and which one goes on the passenger side. The manual doesn't say which is which. Can anyone help me?

I found the answer on my last RockAuto order when I ordered Valeo Silencio wiper blades. It's 24" on the drivers' side and 22" on the passenger side.

Speaking of Wiper Blades, I got my last set (22 E350) at the dealership and they hit me for $67.85 list. What brand does RockAuto carry and how are their prices. Where else should we be sourcing? Thanks

Bosch blades work best. Have more 'meat' to the blade, better wiping action. About $32 on ebay. Easy install once you get the procedure down.

I agree with using Bosch: they basically snap on and off. Remember to put the blades in the "park" position so that you can easily lift the wiper arm up to replace the blades.

Hope this helps.

Rockauto shows a set of Valeo Silencio for $39.79 + shipping. I've been happy with Valeo on all my cars.

Check out FCP Euro - they sell OEM as well as other brands. Plus, with FCP's Lifetime Replacement, you only buy hem once. When they wear out, you buy a second set, return the first (you pay shipping) and they'll credit you. It's the best!

Just put Valeo Silencio blades on my 2017 E400 Wagon this morning. Got them at FCP Euro. Have always used them for Volvo, VW, and now M-B parts. Honestly, I didn't even know about the lifetime guarantee on wear items. I've always thought their prices were solid and they are quick to help out or answer questions. Plus, shipping is quick from Connecticut (where they are) to New Hampshire/Vermont.

I will say that the YouTube videos that I watched on how to release the old blades were a little misleading. They seemed to indicate that you could just slide the locking sleeve away from the base of the wiper arms with little effort. Maybe on a clapped out set but mine were super tight. Used an eyeglass screwdriver to pry the little locking arms out from their crevice to get them off. They also didn't just click back in without some effort.

I have changed my blades about 6 or 7 times: my car is 7 years old and 53,000 miles.

I guarantee that with time the unlocking/locking will get easier - to the point that you will double check that the blades are locked in properly!

Hope this helps.

Since July '17 I've changed blades once on my '18 E300 at 5 years of age. They are still in good condition. The blades don't seem wear, harden or lose their ability to clean. The wipers are used almost every day except in the dry season (late Autumn and Winter) when they are used perhaps once a week with the washers. I purchased my wiper blades at a local parts store where they were installed at no cost.
