Anyone gone on a long trip yet? Are the seats comfortable? Which seats do you have?
Hey, I have 2024 E 300 e and the seats lack lateral support and especially pelvic / leg support. I have a feeling like I am sliding forward left all the time... The w213 seats are waaaay better

And the W213 leather seats are terrible compared to previous E class seats. I'm going back to the S class or another brand.

The standard seats in the S Class aren't any better. Had an S Class loaner and couldn't believe how crappy the seats were. For starters, the standard leather is terrible. Felt like I was sitting on vinyl. Huge step down from Napa leather, so at a minimum you wanna upgrade the leather. The rest of the seat is just basic. Normal seats lack lateral support. There are the optional multicontour seats, which have pneumatic side bolsters etc. where available. I've sat in many car seats and as I've previously said, most so-called comfort seats I find the least comfortable. They don't have lateral support and are too soft, so I constantly move around in them and have to use my back muscles to stay in the seat which over time causes fatigue. In contrast, I can easily do 12 hours in my AMG performance seats. They perfectly support my body (5'11"/174lbs) and keep me in place and I can deflate the side bolsters for comfort or inflate them for even more lateral support, not just for my torso, but also the legs. Not many seats have adjustable leg side bolsters. I regularly do long road trips in rental cars, luxury and otherwise. I do ok in the usually normal seats those cars have, but nothing to write home about.

I have the multi-contour seats and find them very comfortable. They have plenty of lateral support and the massage functions are amazing. I took a 14 hour trip a few months ago and they performed great. I still had to stop and stretch but that would be with any seat for that long. It was a round trip of 14 hours of road time each way. I broke up the first way in two days, but on the way back I drove straight through stopping for gas and food. I also stopped a couple of times for a quick stretch more to wake myself up. Took 16 hours from start to finish with 14 of that in the seat. No issues with the seat at all. Enjoyed the drive. As with anything YMMV, but the multi-contour seats with the nappa leather are very comfortable in my opinion.
I had a 2024 lease with the standard seats and they were not bad but not even close to the multi-contour seats. Well worth the extra price.

Agreed - I love them. Question about heating - i find a dead spot (cold) near the top left (under thigh just below knee) - on the seat. Anyone?
I have always experienced some back pain to where I would have frequent visits to the PT, that being said I had a three-hour one-way no-stop road trip and couldn't have been happier with the seats, while I have no idea about the standard seats, the Multicontour Nappa leather seats have been serving very well and comforting on long trips without any complaints. The massaging function is also a great bonus for those long trips.
