Tire Pressure Discrepancy

2023 E350 with 245/40 R19 (Extra Load) front and rear. Tire sticker on driver's door indicates pressure of F-39/R-46 psi. Sticker on Fuel Fill Cap indicates F-33/R-34. Which should I follow?

Neither... Follow what is molded on the tire itself. Max pressure minus 10-15%

The door jamb states that the pressures listed are for extra load.
The filler cap pressures listed are for normal load, extra load, normal speed, high speed.

If you do this, you will feel every bump, crack and pebble on the road.

With 19" tires, the pressure you suggest, the ride will be intolerable.

I go with the the fuel cap pressures.

For my own preference, I add 2 PSI to the fuel cap. With my 18" wheels, normal load, per the fuel flap that is 33 PSI + 2 = 35 PSI.

Max on tire is to prevent blowing things up and mainly what the max tire load capacity numbers are based on.

max pressure wears tire out in center and reduces handling and braking due to reduce contact area with road.

Manufacturer tire pressure is best place to start and adjust from there but do be careful if you haul near max load and do not have pressure they recommend or more.

I hope you're joking. Absolutely, positively NOT the correct way to determine tire pressures. Terrible advice to post publicly and likely to cause a blowout as pressures will be at or above max when they heat up.
