Factory Front License Plate Bracket?

Does anyone know if the factory front license plate bracket covers the grill at all? I have the illuminated grill and don't wanna cover it, and the dealer said he doesn't think it covers the grill. I'm not picking up my car until July 30th so I wanna make sure even if they do put it on, it won't cover the grill.

NA
I believe it does cover part of the grill. I asked the dealer to not attach the front plate mount when my all terrain gets in.

It doesn't cover the grill in the EU version, but US plates do have a different shape.

I had the front tag installed on my 24 E-450. It has to be mounted by the dealer and does not cover the grille. California, USA.

I'm glad I live in a state that does not have front plates.
