W214 In the wild

I do not know what the MSRP on your car was, but assuming it was about $80,000, that represents almost 50% depreciation in just 3 years.
With a new 2025 AT going for about $80,000 I sincerely doubt your dealer will get anything near $60 for a three year old car.
Just my $.02.

What may, and I say, may make a difference are the new 25% tariffs: people on the fence may decide to buy now rather than take the chance with new pricing due to tariffs. On the other hand, if the W214 was too expensive yesterday, it will be too expensive tomorrow regardless of where the new pricing with tariffs will be.
Who knows: Maybe Trump will only keep the tariffs on for 30 days and then remove them, or he may make them permanent.
Have to wait and see.

Glad it is not the full 25%. I understand OP doesn't like this topic being discussed here and I respect that so I will just leave it at that then.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
But on the topic of "in the wild" sightings, they have also yet to see another one in the NW NJ area, and I've only seen one or two in the Baltimore/DC area in the last year. However, MB says E Class sales are the same YTD, so they are still selling just as many as they did with the w213. But they only sell about 17,000 E Classes per year, so it will take another year or two of sales for them to "populate" enough to see them as often as a w212 or w213, IMO.

E class sales for 2023: 17,782
E class sales for 2024: 17,638
see: https://media.mbusa.com/releases/rel...r-car-salesElc
E Class sales 2019: 40,113
E Class sales 2020: 27,000
see: https://media.mbusa.com/releases/mer...-sales-q4-2020
E Class 2021: 20,947
see: https://media.mbusa.com/releases/mer...-sales-q4-2021
E Class 2022: 18,818
see: https://media.mbusa.com/releases/mer...-sales-q4-2022
Clearly a precipitous drop in annual sales numbers from 2019, over 40,000 units sold to the past 3 years to between 18,818 and 17,638.
