Udimor, if you don't mind me asking, was the "return the car for full payment back" option something that was offered by the dealer, or by MBUSA?
My 24 e450AT is having this same issue, has been at the dealer 5 days and they can't figure it out. I shared this thread but they don't seem interested.

Yes - MBUSA has already started the repurchase option process on their side, and I have dealt with lemon law process on a previous E-class, so I know there are good options if we get to that point.
In some ways the biggest problem for me is the hassle of dealing with the back-and-forth with the dealer, taking and returning the loaner cars, etc. Just adds up to be a lot of time for someone with a busy professional life and not something I expected to be doing with a brand-new $95K car.
