Black emblems

So the one package my car didn't come with is the night package. So I'm going to do a chrome delete on this car. My question is where can I find them in black chrome or black period. Specifically I'm wanting to change out the "E350" "4matic" and the rear star logo. Anybody that can steer me in the right direction I would highly appreciate it.

Have you thought about having the existing ones painted or coated? I believe they can be removed without destroying them. Maybe talk to a body/paint shop to see what they can do.

Agree with the option of plasti-dipping.

The guy that's doing my chrome delete doesn't like to wrap or plastidip tiny items but when I see him person I'll let him know that there are none I can find and if he'll custom plastidip it for me

For your paint/wrap guy to successfully paint over the chrome they need to take the emblems off, sand them down a bit, then paint. It's a process that costs at least $100 as I've had it down before on my Volvo. I would also like to mention to never plasti-dip your emblems, especially on a new Mercedes.
A quick Google search will give you the results you are looking for:

Here is mine with the black emblems on the rear trunk. Looks much better and more accentuated than the chromy ones

That looks awesome! Thank you for sharing your pic. It solidifies my decision to black out my emblems

On light colored cars, the black emblems and trim look great. It gives it some contrast. On dark colored cars, I'm not as much a fan of the blacked out look but it does look nice. If I had white, gray, or that new verde color, I would do the same. On my dark blue, the chrome emblems look better IMO.

What color is your car? Would love to see before and after pics of the blacked out trim.

I take all my lettering off. It looks so much cleaner IMO.

It's the Verde silver color. I will post before and after if I go that route. Still on the fence about it.

Mine is Verde Silver as well. I’ll be interested in seeing your results if you go for it. I’m not averse to the chrome though.

That will look awesome with blacked out emblems and trim. Take a picture and edit it to black them out so you can get a good visual of how it will look.

I would like to know, why not? Any drawbacks? I was thinking of plasti-dipping the lettering and rear logo on my new Mercedes.

There are plenty of reasons why you should not utilize plasti-dip for emblems. One of the biggest is that it looks cheap once you get up close regardless of what type of plasti-dip you use, another reason being that plasti-dipping contours and edges of certain emblems is a PITA to get that perfect match sometimes and let's not mention the poor adherence to certain chrome or other emblem shades that will lead to it eventually starting to peel or chip off, other factors like weather conditions and car washes can also cause peeling. This is just a poor solution to fix an aesthetic issue. At this rate, if you are doing a DIY job, take the emblems off, sand them down for better adherence, and proceed to paint them yourself. The result would be significantly better than just plasti-dipping them.

The black looks nice on the white car, and I think it would like nice on any light colored car. Nice contrast. I drive black cars and I just don't like a lot of chrome. I debadge everything off the truck and/or rear facade of the car. Just my own like. Good luck. Would love to see before and after pics!

Does anyone know whether the sedan and AT trunk emblems are the same? Or know a source for gloss black AT emblems?
