Over the air updates

Has anyone received any over the air updates either for MBUX or navigation? I had a MY 2024 for 3 months and received zero updates, I have my MY 2025 since mid September and have not received over the air updates. The car came with MBUX E262.3-4975, and navigation 8.0, About 1 week ago I manually installed nav 9.1 since I knew it was out since August.

I check the app frequently and it says Swiss up to date.

If anyone has received an update, please include the version of MBUX.

I have noticed the same thing, I haven't received a single over the air update for maps nor MBUX and I'm fairly certain there are new versions of both. I'm considering to at the very least update the map version manually.

I picked up my E450 in July.

I believe they are making updates because they have broken things on my car and then later fixed them without a service appointment.

There is a difference between OTA updates and OTA config changes. The former referrs to a new version of the MBUX or Navigation software. The latter are small changes that don't include new software but do change things that the software is already capable of. An example of the latter is when many owners noticed the jokes and other "fun" features were disabled for a short time and then re-enabled.

I have had one OTA update in the 2024 I leased for a short while. This is documented in this thread. I have heard others say they got a navigation update OTA as well. For me, I have disabled automatic updates and have it prompt me where a PIN is required to allow it to continue. I do this to prevent an update from breaking my car.

I received notice of an update on my nav today as I was using it.

Same with me-no updates over the air since purchase of auto on July 31, 2024. Service Department had to update my navigation maps. They only have version 8 but version 9 has been out a few months. MB Corporation tells me that map updates only through thumb drive using the Mercedes launcher online or dealer. Minor navigation updates done over the air. MBUX System needs a dealer. Go figure-I receive different comments from them depending on the day.
