Digital car key iOS 18.2
Can someone tell me if they have any problems with their digital car key once they updated to iOS 18.2? I’m currently on 18.1 and the digital key works great and I don’t want to mess it up if I update to 18.2. Thanks.

I’m using version 18.2 and my digital key is still working perfectly on both my iPhone 16 and Apple Watch. I just checked them both right now, and they’re both in great shape!

I still can't get mine to work. Worked when i first got the car, was hoping with 18.2 that it would. Have called Mercedes Me connect back before Thanksgiving and they escalated the issue, they claimed they fixed something, but that didn't help, they then asked for details about my phone and now it is over 2 1/2 weeks and nothing from Mercedes, have called twice and left message and sent to follow-up emails and no response. Frustrating dealing with the Mercedes Me support folks.

I’m not sure if they had you try that or if that’s the same issue you are having. I’m now on 18.2 and it works fine. The only issue I have is sometimes the door handles don’t pop out when I approach the car but that happened even before the IOS update.

When I upgraded my phone to a 16 Pro I couldn’t get it to install as a digital key. I would keep getting a fail message. Mercedes Me sent me a link and pairing PIN via email. It kinda reverse paired my phone when I clicked the link while sitting in the car.
I’m not sure if they had you try that or if that’s the same issue you are having. I’m now on 18.2 and it works fine. The only issue I have is sometimes the door handles don’t pop out when I approach the car but that happened even before the IOS update.
