MBUX 3.2.2 update thread
My last MBUX software update (3.2.1) was in March. We are in the middle of June, and the newer update still eludes me here in Florida. I open up my App to see if it becomes available, and nothing. Is anyone else also in the dark about the latest update?
P.S. Not that I am expecting any earth-shattering experience with the new version. In my opinion, the MBUX is about 2 years behind where it should be. I just want to keep up with the latest updates! You know, in case they throw in some patches for the delightful collection of glitches and quirks I’ve come to know and love.

Nothing on my end either for update. My auto is due for its first A Service in next few weeks. Hope to have dealer do updates on Maps and Software while there as well as check on any info on Firmware and Software to fully activate my Digital Light Platform.
Happy Father's Day.

Some cars may not get it depending on the version they already have. Hard to say though. I would not worry about not getting it. I'm sure there will be another update and this one didn't have any noticeable changes anyway.
I haven't got 3.2.1 or any later versions. Now my car frequently fails to connect to my Android phone. Maybe time to check with the dealer again after 4 months.
Greetings: I only received one OTA update for the auto since July 31, 2024 dealing with the Communication Module giving us free Internet a few months ago. Never received OTA Map Updates. Do the update myself or the dealership as it is free for one year at dealership for Maps. When I have the auto in for any minor corrections, I have them check the MBUX and do updates. I am told by the dealership that they will not look for updates for me as they are not reimbursed from Mercedes Corporation. Strange as I never had this issue with Lexus and I was with Lexus the last 15 years.
I still cannot understand the rationale or the approach to these OTA updates by Mercedes. Some get the updates, and some of us never do. Calling customer service is no help and the worst group to receive definite answers or resolutions. Love the auto, but poor grades for the customer service department as the first line of support have no idea how the product works.

I recommend doing manual map updates anyways since that is the only way to get updated speech data.
In short, a software update for the software updater module that is responsible for updating the software of other modules.

So this post is 6 weeks old and I finally got notified that my car (MY 2025, built Sept. 2024, purchased Nov. 2024) was eligible to the 3.2.2 update. I went for a ride this morning specifically to do the update. The download of the update took about 14 minutes. The installation took about an hour, after the download completed. So the whole thing took about an hour and twenty minutes. A lovely ride on some back roads.
I'm glad that folks posted about the update before I did it. Specifically, L1Wolf said his installation "hung" at around 22% for a while, so when mine did the same thing, instead of being worried, I figured it would be all OK. And it hung and it was all OK. Whatever the update was for, it completed successfully with no issues. I'd love to learn what the update was all about, but with it being a second decimal .2 update, I don't expect features, but rather background bug fixes. And if that prevents future software failures that I will now never see, I'm good with it.

I know this thread is about 3.2.2, but I only received 3.2.1 three days ago, and after an hour or so of installation, it said "installation failed" and then the update disappeared from the update menu. On the app it says the update is "not installed" and "we will provide the update again once the technical requirements are fulfilled". LOL

I also have only received 1 OTA update for the Comm module back in Feb. Also, I have never received OTA map updates. Car was delivered last Sept with Map version 8.0, and I manually updated it with each of the releases to 12.0. I find it strange that when I check my app for SW updates, it says no updates as of 06/09/2025. I also have a 2019 W238, and that car receives the map updates, and when I check the SW updates on the app it says as of 06/04/2025.
