with these particular cost into effect had i purchased the prepaid plan i could of just went to any shop got the service done and went home. And not worry about being nicked and dime.
also keep in mind this was a year ago I'm sure each one went up in cost as of now.

While the service procedure bulletin is very informative, I don't think that the tech(s) actually do everything on that list when you take your vehicle in. If they did all of that then the price would seem justified, however if all they do is change the fluids then it's massively overpriced. I'd love to hear what a qualified service tech has to say about this, but in my opinion they do not perform the checks.
As for what is really required:
I know it's not a E53, but my 2014 W212 has almost 250k miles on it and I did every oil change myself, I had the dealer do my first transmission oil change at 100k (I had a warranty replacement of the entire transmission due to an outdrive bearing grind that was due to tolerance stacking in the drivetrain at 37k) then each subsequent one was done by an indy. I didn't even replace my spark plugs until I was at 130k miles and I needed new brakes at the same time which I did myself at home. I also had to replace the airmatic rear springs twice, the front and rear struts once at 200k miles and the engine mounts and control rod bushings. I also had my rear drive shaft replaced at around 180k mark by an indy, $600 in parts and the same in labor. The W212 is extremely easy to work on, it's been a tank and I absolutely love it. Let's hope the W214 E53 is the same.
Knowing what I know, I would not buy the prepaid plan, we didn't buy it on the GLC either.

W214 E53 right front tire after 13.2K miles.
The tires should last longer with even wear. I also missed the worn inside tread multiple times, including once where I was close to the belts. I could see decent tread on the outside of the tire, not realizing that the inside was wearing quicker.
The E53 has decent tire options too.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
If the old terms still apply, if you no longer have the car but have prepaid maintenance, you don't get a refund. There is a risk versus reward decision where you need to guess if you will still have the car for the length of the prepaid maintenance.
@E53DadWagon It is much easier to do the calculation on Mercedes prepaid maintenance versus the BMW X5 prepaid. With your BMW X5, to decide on prepaid maintenance you have to guess if you are going to need new brakes within 4 years. With Mercedes, you just need to guess if you are going to own the car at the time of the scheduled services.

The only two services that are E53 specific are 1) Changing Rear Axle Oil, if you have the optional Electronic Locking Differential, at 60K miles, and 2) Replace Battery Coolant at 120K miles.
