Yes, they expire and must be renewed. You cant do them individually either. Its all or nothing. There are some that are permanent after a one time purchase such as dash camera and digital light projections assuming you have the supporting hardware.

Just renewed Mercedes Me subscription that covers the Digital Extras. The regular price is $150/year. However, based on my personal experience, if you let your current subscription expire, you will receive an offer of 10% discount via email (within a week), effectively making it $135/year.

I paid $150 to extend it one year and yes in order to remote engine start and vehicle track and lock and unlock it you need to pay that $150.

In my experience, I let my subscription expire and after one week, I was offered a 10% discount through email, which I accepted and renewed. However, I do not know/remember whether that takes away the option of monthly payment since I paid the full amount due (that is after the 10% discount).
