FS: VRP Shorty Headers (HEM)

I bought these and another set headers that we are not allowed to discuss 3 weeks ago. I flipped a coin to decide which set to install.

I paid $950. I also had the machine shop resurface and clean up one of the threads ($50).

I'll ship these to you for $950 and they are ready to bolt up and go. I had asked in a previous thread how these worked, and there was a lot of support for the VRPs.

G55 - R500
if there is any chance these might fit for a G55 you can consider them sold

EDIT - just looked at the VRP website and it didn't list the headers as compatible for the G55 - agrh. Too bad my car is at dealer atm, otherwise I might be able to at least eyeball it.

On the Group 5 web site they show a header for a G55, and it looks like the header for the E63. (4 bolts per exhast port). I do not know if the picture represents a true G55 part. My guess is that E55 VRP will not fit, but not much information to be found. I am sure some others will chime in.

I dont want to bump this, but the post below missed the point. "Do these fit a G5?" Next guy will say: The Z01 headers do not fit a C5...

E55 & E63 headers are not interchangeable.

What would the headers do to the exhaust sound? Noticable difference? My car is already borderline too loud for the wife as is.

2004 E55 AMG
Is it safe to run these headers without a tune?

I assume I wouldn't see very big gains being stock(secondary cat and resonator delete)?

Thanks!

Well.. looks like these will sell..

I am very suprised there was not much more interest. These make great power, and I had a hard time getting a set.

Anyway, it may have been one of you who bid. I will ship out immedialty after payment is recieved, so contradulations whoever your are.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...Q5fAccessories

If I would have found a set like this a month ago, I would have JUMPED on them.. I was willing to go $1000.. I guess I was the only one running around with stock manifolds.

SOLD
