F/S: Renntech Carbon Fiber Airbox - M113 - C55/CLK55 etc.
I just sold my C55, and am selling the Renntech airbox. It's in very good condition. I bought off another board member about a year and a half ago.

These airboxes do make about 10 to 15 whp. Check out my thread (linked below) with my dyno comparison to the stock C55 airbox. Includes 2 K&N filters with approx 5,000 miles on them. There are other board members who have done similar comparisons and the improved performance has been replicated each time.

Looking for local pickup, but if I can't find anyone who can pick up, then I'll ship at buyer's cost.

I'm not sure, but if you were local, then I'd be more than happy to have you try to fit it on your car before buying.

Thanks for your interest.

I didn't private sale the car--I traded it in. I put the stock airbox back on for the dealer.

will this directly fit on top of clk550 engine?
i looked on rentech website and it only shows this air box for clk500 and not for clk550......

I would imagine that it would fit on the CLK 550, but I can't say for certain.

Why wont it fit? Ive seen these boxes swapped between almost all M113 engines. Looks to me like it would fit any NA M113... Does the CLK have hood clearance issues or is it maybe the firewall?

The new Clk550 ECU is mounted right in the middle of the engine.
