FS: 82mm TB and Flange - Cost Effecitve way for a 82mm setup
I have a brand new Bosch 82mm TB and adaptor flange for sale.
Price is 500 plus 15 to ship in the continental US.
This is what you will need to make this work, the less expensive way -
1. Use you stock supercharger snout. Take it to a fab shop and have then cut the inlet and weld the supplied flange on it. By doing this you save 350 on a 80mm inlet that you may have to buy in order to bolt the flange on to mate it to the 82mm tb. I like this approach because with the stock inlet cut and the flange welded, the 82mm TB is not pushed 1/2 inch back as it would be if you bolt it on to a 80mm inlet. Fabrication cost on modifying the 74mm inlet should be arund $ 100
2. 2 wires will have to be swapped on the factory harness to make this Bosch TB work.
3. This TB will come with a brass barb on the TB for the PCV inlet.
4. You will have to buy a 82mm Y pipe from the dealer which costs about $270
You do the math, the above mentioned way is lower cost effective way to get a 82mm setup on your car if you are modding on a budget.

Out Of Control!!
Nowhere in your post did you state that it isn't an MB tb and doesn't open the same way as the factory tb. You said it was a Bosch tb which could also be a Mb tb. I'm just making it clear so potential buyers know what they are buying.

What's the bosch part number on this and which wires get switched around? I bought one of these a few years back for my Crossfire. Non-MB throttle and I was told it was just a matter of switching two wires which was not the case. It didn't play nicely with the ECU so I want to make sure this isn't going to be the same thing all over again.

Nice BS answer but since you scratched that itch, tell me how will this work for anyone else here on the forum if I will "probably have the same issue with this one"? Provide us the part number or I'll assume you're just trying to pull a fast one.

i dont know if it will work on the crossfire, but it will work for the 55k motors. search online and you will find the part number for the bosch tb. the part numbers have been scratched out on the units i have.
How am I pulling a fast one when I have already sold 2 of the 3 units I have

PLATINUM SPONSOR
This Bosch TB has been used for years on our 55 engines. Many people run them and they work well. This kit is a quick easy way to get an 82mm TB on your car, if you can turn a wrench, source the parts Shardul mentioned and want to save at least 500 bucks. Just another option for a 82mm TB. These kits are hard to come by, built by an automotive mechanical engineer and sell fast at this price.

Why send me a PM now? I asked you a simple question that you could have answered here in the thread and all would have been well but instead, you decided to act all sly and secretive. It's not like I didn't know it was one of the three different Bosch 82mm TBs available (of which only two will work with our cars). Everything about the two that do is posted here on the forum if you know where to look and the only reason I was going to buy one from you was to save me the time of getting the flange made. I wanted to know what the part number was so I knew for sure it wasn't the FD one I had purchased before and what pins, connectors, etc. I'd need to pick up by the time it was delivered but you kept up the BS answer game. So in the mean time, I had my own flanges cut and picked up a new throttle that even had the PN still intact. And while I had to have a couple flanges made and then tap them myself, I still managed to do it all for about the same price you were asking and maybe next time you'll be up front and honest with people when they ask you a question.
