blue top speed shift solonoids for 722 transmission

I have two brand new bluetop speed shift solonoids for the 722 transmission. This is a known mod that makes the gear shifting much faster and firmer. I paid $287 each from my local dealer about 3 months ago but my CLK 55 was totaled last week so i never got a chance to install and enjoy them. My loss is your gain. $400 shipped.

Thanks brother. I lived to tell about it so in that sense I am very lucky. as for the solonoids, they make a huge huge difference. I drove in my friends CLK with them on and I walked into the dealer the next day and ordered them. the TCU tunes don't make any difference but these right after install you feel the firm and faster shifts. it almost feels like a manual.

Glad you're ok bro... That's the important part... Still man you're such a huge asset to this forum and help so many people out. Those solenoids sound like exactly what I'm looking for... I'm just curious how it shifts in auto mode, and if it's not too harsh. I've driven Mazda 6's that are more responsive to manual override than the 722.xxx trans. What are you going to replace your car with?

I personally didn't think they are harsh at all. they are very firm, but again I like firm shifts. I know some people that have done them also got the TCU flash and they loved it but I personally liked them just the way they are. id say next to my 55 transplant and C63 steering wheel retrofit with paddle shifters this was the mod I was looking forward too the most to complete the beast but unfortunately I was only able to do the first two mods and of course bunch of other things but time was short and never got a chance to bring her into her full potential.

sorry I forgot to responde to the next section. they are brand new btw and ready to ship. as for the next car, I haven't even thought about it yet as im still in a lot of pain from the accident and just been in and out of doctors and physical therapy, the holiday weeks have been nothing but doctor and hospital trips for me and pain so once things settle and I get these pains sorted ut and can function normally again I will think about the next car, but as of right now driving is very difficult due to my back and leg so even if I get a car I cant really drive it much. but I will be back in a car again and will do it up all over again. ill still be here on these fourms as I will never leave the benz family. as we speak I have a 2013 and a 2014 so it runs in the blood just cant leave it. lol

I hear Ya man my health has been really bad too.... Lots of hospital trips for me as well.... And pain, but mine is a stomach problem they can't figure out, and I haven't been able to eat more than a couple times this month. You Probably have it worse pain wise, I hope at least they have some decent pain management meds for you to get through.... Wishing you the best in recovery brother! Hope to see you in another AMG soon.
