2003 E55 "BRAKESTAND BURNOUT" TCU.... for 2005-2006 E55
Here it is!
Part Number: A 033 545 14 32
This is the OEM TCU for 2003 E55s, which does not limit brakestanding burnouts like the later 2005 - 2006 TCUs.
As originally discussed at length on the MBWorld forums, there are only a few TCUs that will allow for unlimited brakestand burnouts.... here is the original table that highlights the differences by model year.
$200 + the ride.

From reading around, so far, this is my understanding. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I think it would be neat to do a little burnout every now and then, but I'm skeptical.
EGS52 just means that the TCU is programmable, it does in no way imply plug and play compatibility with my car.
If the TCU is pulled from any platform but a w211, version coding is necessary.
I've seen one post where someone swapped to an earlier TCU, and was still unable to spin the tires.
Since it is a relatively small job, would you mind plugging the TCU into your car, to verify that it actually works?

I believe the 2003's had to be matched TCU with valve body & the steering wheel shifters only worked when in manual mode, while in later years they worked in any mode.
