How do I get underneath this cover?

I heard the fuse box is on the bottom right of this styrofoam cover, however Im struggling to open it. There seems to be a quick release cable or some sort on the bottom right? I can pull on it but I think it just open up the fusebox cover? I can't get to it.

The cable wasn't to unlock the fuse box. I think it is to disconnect the active brake assist. As that feature is off. Now I need to figure out how to get to it to plug it back in.

never mind. I manage to get underneath it but there's no fuse box. Totally different from the manual. It didn't disable the active brake but I still got no idea what that cable is for.

Could you please outline the steps how you managed to get the styrofoam cover out? I sometimes hear a couple of squeaks coming from it when the vehicle goes over a hump so would like to add some padding for support.

I can clarify this. You need to remove the black trim cover at the back of the hatch area to release the styrofoam using a trim removal tool. Be careful to go slowly so as not to break the tabs holding the plastic piece in. The fabric strap you saw and pulled is the manual release cable for the charging port.

this is right. You also need to remove two screws around the lock area. I definitely broke a tab holding a piece because Im just going in blind. I can't see where the tab is holding it in place. Luckily it all got back in without any loose parts.

I also have rattles, but I suspect like others it's just coming from the suspension. I tried looking underneath the Styrofoam but everything is bolted down.

Thanks. This is pretty useful information! I think I will pass opening the trim cover. I am trying to eliminate a couple of squeaks that seem to come from the trim cover whenever the body flexes, i.e. going over a speed hump or a big pothole in a broken patch. I have been sticking 5 mm foam tape on the bottom of the foam cover by gently lifting it up and squeezing in the foam. That has eliminated almost all of the pesky squeaks and the cabin feels very silent now. I was thinking of opening up up the trim cover and doing a 'clean' job with sticking the tape. But I would rather not break a tab or two lest it cause a 'hard' rattle or a loose part.

I think this would be helpful information for you, remove the black trim cover at the back of the hatch area and remove the styrofoam. Use a trim removal tool to do so. Carry this process very slowly so that the parts do not get broken.
