Looks like we are stuck with just those 7 specific color/option combos, and if I wanted designo leather on a white car with driver assist, I can't order it, period?

I just checked it out. Damn, it looks like Mercedes is going basic nowadays... 3 trims with preselected options, trim and colors. What is going on? I really am interested in the EQC however. I want to see one in person first. If it is similar to the size of my ML then it is a go for me. If it is the size of my father in laws God awful GLC then forget it.

I think size-wise it is like a GLC but 4 inches longer.

Looks like a proper car will be in the mid eighties without too many choices. Take off the $7500 and it will work if the lease deals are right.
Nobody in their right mind should buy a first gen. EV IMO.
Unfortunately if Germany is any indication, the lease rates for the EQC are well above the GLC or GLE

I personally have never been a first-year buyer of any car. I always buy the last year of the old style. They usually give the least amount of issues.

I wonder if it is the same chassis? 4 inches if it applies to the backseats might be enough. I would have to see it in person. I am definitely interested. My father in law tried to get me into a GLC. I got the GLK instead with more options less price and a much better car. EQC looks like a fantastic replacement thou. I just wish it was not so limited with choices.

I think it is a modified GLC chasis, but don't know how the extra length is used. Totally with you on the lack of choices/customization, especially considering the price premium over a GLC. I'm nonetheless also interested, though my wife may want to wait on the Porsche Cross Turismo.
