Is it possible to retrofit the illuminated star

2022 Mercedes EQS 580
Is it possible to retrofit the illuminated star
I see the illuminated star in the EQE AMG SUV ordering guide. I have seen some cars have it. However the one I am about to lease does not have it. Can it be retrofitted easily?

I assume that the wiring is under the front hood, but the software will have to be updated. Mechanically, the entire front bumper assembly would have to be removed in order to gain access. I would pass on this bling. Same with the illuminated door steps. What color are you getting?

Also, if your car has adaptive cruise (distronic), it is not possible to fit it due to the long range radar mounted behind the star.

Alpine grey with black Nappa. I would prefer the blue/grey interior but this is a very good deal.

The distortion conflict is on the ICE cars. The EQE and EQS SUV have room for the adaptive cruise and illuminated star. Adaptive cruise is standard so if it was not possible to have both then no EQE/EQS SUV would have illuminated stars which is clearly not the case.

But yeah if it’s expensive or complex to retrofit then no point.

It's not standard on EQE. It is included on Exclusive and Pinnacle trims, or if selected as a factory option. It is standard on EQS. Is illuminated star available on EQS?

FYI, I ordered a rear cargo liner from Weathertec as Mercedes does not have one. Fits perfectly.

Not gonna lie, alpine gray is stunning. Almost changed my order color from Cirrus Silver. Am happy with that color too though.

sounds great. I had that in my EQS sedan.
