Changes to Brake Pedal Action?
I've heard that in the '24 EQE SUVs the brake pedal moves by itself when the car goes into regen braking mode, and that this apparently disturbs some drivers. I also believe I've heard that this action had been changed/modified in the '25 EQE SUV. Can anyone clarify what if anything is going on here? Thanks again.

That said it’s not a big deal. I got used to it in a couple of weeks on my EQS. It’s harder for people who drive the car less often. My wife always struggled with it because she was used to her Rivian which has a fixed brake pedal.

To be clear. - the original programming of the pedal wasn’t an issue, but I do think it hurt them a lot in automotive reviews and test drives because the car doesnt feel normal - it requires you to learn the pedal because the pedal feel will depend on the pedal position.. Every time my wife drives the car (not often) she complains about the brakes and I have to tell her to turn off the regen to ensure she has a normal brake pedal.
