Light Settings Turning off Overnight?
Good day all,
Wondering if anyone is running into issues with the light settings reverting off over night.
I turned on all the setting and in the morning and they revert to the off setting the next morning.
Includes the following:
Ambient Light - Either completely off, or at the standard blue setting (white was chosen on my end)
Under Operating Feedback: Charging, Voice Assistant, Climate and Welcome lights, turned off
Under Warning Support: Active Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, Warning when Exiting, turned off
Under Digital Lights: Dynamic Low Bean, Spot Light, warning and Alerts, turned off
Under Exterior Lights: Locator Lighting, Turned off
I did try to reboot MBUX by holding the power button for 10 seconds, and that didn't help. Perhaps there is some issue that I am not aware of?

If you switch profiles, or use no profile, it's possible these settings may change. Make sure you're signed in to your desiredbprofike before you make the changes, and they should hold. I do have a couple of settings that seem to clear themselves roughly every 3 months or so, but generally everything sticks.

I can confirm that the correct profile is active. I had the same issue a couple days ago, and it held the settings for a day. I jump into the car today, and all the settings were cleared.

I think you need a full software update, which I hope would fix this problem.

The only time I've ever noticed any behavior like this on my car is immediately after an OTA or dealer MBUX update...which didn't surprise me.
But to have it happen at any other time, I agree, would be annoying and should not happen!

Unfortunately, it looks like there is a glitch in the system.

Car is currently in service and they are going to update the software. I will report as soon as I get the car back.
