.
What are folks hearing about when the EQE releases to the US? It seems summer, which was stated in some press materials, will be missed.

I think it might make a debut by the end of this year. Since the semiconductor chips issue is still there, we can assume a normal order would be by mid 2023. Just my guess. MB should have a starting price at $59K, otherwise, they won't sell well.

Thank you for the explanation. I hope it's close to the price you mention. Even if it's more, the EQE is attractive to me since the range seems long compared to most other luxury EV sedans.

Are you members discussing these EQ cars prepared to take them on a 2500 mile trip?
Are any of you living in climates where in the winter it can go down to -20 to -30 degs F?
These batteries can loose 35% of their power capacity when it’s cold outside.
My dealer said they don’t think they will be big sellers in our geographical location here in Canada.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Hi Toban,
Since I'm from the Bay Area, CA, the EQE should be good. However, it will come to the price which I care most, and I'm not going to pay more than $59K. Of course. when you plan to buy any new German car, you should wait at least 1 year, to let them sort all the bugs out. At this point, I just wait for all the update.

In this case waiting a year won't make a difference. It is based on EQS technology. They have already sorted out the small stuff. The big stuff (like a lack of a heat pump, or the absence of tesla like conveniences like camp mode or dog mode) won't be fixed until the mid-cycle refresh.
