2023 Order Guides
Thanks for posting, looks like the Hyperscreen will remain EQS 580/AMG exclusive with the chip shortage still in effect. Hopefully like the EQS, price will be close to its ICE-equivalent model, that should make this a good deal.
Based on the ordering guide it will be available at some point but not at start of production. That said it may end up like the self closing doors and be omitted for the whole model year. I am sure they are prioritizing the EQS and EQS SUV.

It’s interesting to see the trim structure and how many standalone options there are. The Pinnacle trim adds HUD, 4-zone climate, advanced USBs, air balance, choice of energizing comforts, and digital light to an exclusive, but you can get an exclusive with HUD, 4 zone, and/or digital light. There’s also stand-alone heated wheel or winter package, and I think it’s interesting that both ventilated seats and massage can be had with MB-Tex.
Im disappointed by the interior choice. I love the Neva Gray/Blue with rose gold, and especially that it’s available on MB-Tex, and the brown seats with neva contrast is certainly interesting, but I wish there were more brown/sienna like colors and maybe a beige option. I love light (read: anything not black) interiors but I’d be worried about upkeep and dye transfer on Neva Gray, even in MB-Tex form. It is beautiful though.
interesting to see both 4.5 and 10 degree rear steer options. I wonder if that will change to only 10 degree on smaller wheels like it did on the EQS. I wonder if we’ll see a cost difference between the two - we haven’t yet otherwise.
Could be more exterior choices, but as long as pricing isn’t wild and as long as folks can get past the looks, I think this could be an awesome choice for a good portion of E Class buyers. I’m certainly interested.
i think I’d go EQE350 4Matic, Pinnacle trim, selenite gray or starling blue, Neva gray with blue MB-Tex, backlit trim, EQ exterior with the blue 20 inch wheels, 10 degree rear steering, winter package, ventilated seats, massage seats, energizing plus, HEPA, and I think that would be it. Could see that being mid $80ks.

I like the stand alone options too. I think I’d go with a base 350+ W MB Tex seats, 10 degree rear steer, airmatic and double pane glass. Maybe the skinny tires will make the car more tail happy 😃
I like that Burmester is standard too!

Market Adjustment
I spoke with a salesman at a MB dealership in the San Diego area yesterday. He told me his dealership would be adding a $10,000 “market adjustment” to the price of all EQE’s. He thought the market adjustment might go away after the first few series of deliveries. Are you hearing something similar from dealers in your market?

IMHO, the "market adjustments" dealers ad are a huge turnoff and a dishonest practice. I have an EQE on order...one thing for sure is that if someone tries to stick me with that it'll be the last car I ever buy from that dealer or salesman.
You ordered an EQE without knowing the prices of the car as well as the options?
I agree. The EQE sedan is also priced more than $55K ( at least $65K, I guess ). The EQE SUV would be priced around $70K to $75K ( again, my guess). Anyway, people who buy these cars are wealthy, they don't care much about the $7.5K tax credit.

I have an order in Florida. I'm not going to pay and will walk if they start that crap with me. Agree that a few suckers will pay it but you've got to be out of your mind.
