Pretty much. MB is all about marketing nowadays I guess and I guess if people want a "sportier" vehicle they would look at the two digit MB models instead of the three digits that are usually geared more towards luxury. Yes I saw that. I wonder if the base EQS SUV will be an EQS500. I guess it is 500 to separate from the RWD 450.

no problem : ) I also appreciate your efforts in gathering the articles after every release and sharing with us forum members, that was definitely appreciated!
Based on the price info here https://mbworld.org/forums/eqe-v295-...ml#post8534082 and the exchange rate between Euro and USD is basically 1 to 1, can we assume the EQE 350+ will start around $71k while the 43 AMG 4Matic will start around $104k?

It is possible, but typically MB models in Europe are priced higher than US cars (ex. S-Class and EQS). There is a possibility of the EQE being priced under $70k.
Just checked the Germany configurator. The AMG 53 priced at 110k Euro (so hopefully less than 110k USD) looks like a great buy.
On a remotely related note, my dealer sent me the following picture (bear with the terrible quality). I guess we're not getting the AMG version in year one, just like the EQS?

Yes, AMG's are typically introduced later than the standard cars.
Took delivery of my AMG EQE 53, Cardinal Red, black interior, guess I need to change my forum pic. Dealer got the first slot and knew what I wanted and ordered it for me. No deposit or BS. So far love it, a real rocket.

Congrats! Would love to see pics and any in-depth thoughts on the car as you add miles since I believe you are our first EQE owner on the board.
