2023 AMG EQE from 2021 Cls450 no regrets. I swore I wouldn't go Electric until I drove it.

Wow can you share what made you have such a change in heart? Is it really just because you drove one and fell in love or was there something else as well?

Congrats on the new AMG! Please post more pics of your ride when you get the chance, we don't have many EQE members on the board.

Drive one. The instant power is insane. The steering and suspension are tight in Dynamic plus mode. I haven't launched in race start yet. But I understand your point.

Hmmm I wonder how much it compares to the e-turbo equipped MB cars.

You certainly speak true words and since you own one I believe it. I just am not ready to make that move yet. Maybe someday

Ya but I am still curious if MB was able to use the eturbo to give a similar experience but for those who still want a petrol vehicle.

I've also always equated AMG with an AwesoMe exhaust Grumble

There's a hand-signed badge with the name of the guy who spent hours winding copper wire around the electric motor magnets. That's what makes it so special. It's not just a marketing gimmick.

2022 Taycan GTS, 2023 EQS580 SUV, 2023 EQS580 sedan

test drove Taycan GTS and fell in love right away. maybe is Porsche that provided seamless connection between EV and gas car (I had fully modify f82 m4 and f80 m3cs). and interior are good quality unlike Tesla.
and one of big reason is that I need AC while waiting my kids off school. (both m3 m4 are catless so I shut off engine while I wait for them)
EV are so easy to drive, then I bought a 7 seats EQS SUV so I can drive it on weekend. (but mainly for my wife weekday car) (still keeping my Sienna for camping....)
then I feel that EQS SUV so roomy, easy in and out, I drive this car more often than my taycan, plus I hurt my back early this year, so I bought myself another EQS sedan for daily.
it just hop and go, no more gas station. AC always on, it just so easy, so good.

but no, I will not buy Tesla even it is a EV. its build quality is way below the standard. I can't believe my friend's model x door handles are not align. big gap of the tail light.

Appreciate your reply, your needs totally makes sense with an EV. Enjoy.

EQE 350+, EQS 450+, AMG C63
I have an AMG GTS which I love and a C63. I test drove an EQS AMG it was fast off the line and had plenty of torque for sure but it was no AMG... sorry. yes, the suspension is way better than what you find on a standard EQS or EQE for sure but you can feel that massive weight of the car heading into the turns.

I have an EQE 350 nothing to write home about, super nice inside and comfy for sure. It drives what I would consider to be better than a Tesla, but when my lease is up so is my EV journey. I also have an EQS SUV so I have some first hand experience and can compare apples to apples between EV and ICE platforms. No matter what what Tobias wants us to think its not an AMG and never will be one. Enjoy it, it is a beautiful car.

I am guessing you would like the EQE 53 more opposed to the EQS 53 you drove?
