Anyone know if the car comes with standard running boards and if option 846 is an upgrade to add illuminated and aerodynamic running boards instead? Or are there no running boards by default and you have to add 846 to get any running boards

EQS ordered, 2018 GLS
i feel like I get 85-90% of my range with my 580 driving 80-100 miles a day at 70-75 mph. Tesla seems like 50-60% of the estimated range. Tesla must have some tricks up their sleeve to get the EPA ranges they are able to post on their cars.

- New Constraints:
- Non-Runflat Tires are currently on constraint. Recommend to select Runflat Tires (R66) while building an EQS SUV.
- Starpanel Grille is constrained (5U4) in 11/1D

To be fair, this is a VERY important model for MB and is made in the US, so if there was one model for them to have an amazing launch of, it's this one for sure. I'm sure the pressure to get as many deliveries in before Dec. 31 helped as well.

- IMPORTANT NOTE - During the transition to our new Vehicle Ordering System, descriptions in Netstar for option codes are showing inaccurate. The Dealer Ordering Guide is the correct resource for the name and description of all option, upholstery, package, trim, paint, and wheel codes. MBUSA is aware of this ongoing issue and is working to resolve as quickly as possible.
- Nappa Leather Upholsteries (801, 811, 821, 509, 805) are constrained in December production.

- Options originally scheduled for December production introduction have been further delayed. Timing is TBA, availability will be updated as soon as possible.
- Aerodynamic Illuminated Running Boards (846) are not available on EQS 580 4MATIC, or with AMG Line Exterior (DG1).Timing TBA.
- AMG Line Exterior (DG1) is not available on EQS 450 2WD only - timing of availability is TBA. Option is orderable on EQS 450 4MATIC and standard equipment on EQS 580 4MATIC.

For EQS SUV, I think it will be faster than other models since it's built in the US, has less distance to travel, and is already cleared for sale.

How off is the range you are getting from the 580? i am assuming you drive it like a hologan. I will have to custom order my 580 and wait as I want a 3rd row and it is currently not available. I was told that option is only available on January builds.

I have a locked build for Nov 1st decade that has the 3rd row option. The order was placed back in May.

I wouldn't hold your breath on ordering a car with one. The functionality is still extremely limited, and even when it does arrive in the US it will only be allowed/sold in a few states at first.
