no trailer hitch, 3rd row, or spoiler
i just got a call from my dealer saying my EQS SUV will go into production in October for November delivery. however, MB has decided against the trailer hitch, 3rd row, or the rear spoiler. Anyone else aware of this?

Interesting. Mine is an Oct production. I wonder if I will get a 3rd row. I didn't order the hitch or the chrome rear spoiler. I don't like chrome. My understanding is the standard car comes with a non chrome rear spoiler.

With Rivian track record I seriously doubt you will get it anytime soon. I have Oct-Dec delivery estimates and would be surprised if I get it before Mar 2023. You can wait for Q1 allocation to get it with third row.

Agree, I heard a similar comment from regional person, most likely at least 2-month delay. This may be due to certification of the new model, but I guess standard procedure is they build up a bunch of volume and then ship out at once vs trickle as they are built.

Good news, what I was told is the production will go as planned, it's after they are produced, I am hearing they wait to ship them out. I hope I am wrong, and they start going right to dealers. It's all word of mouth because of no formal announcement from MB.

Hate to break it to you, but cancelling the order was not a smart move. Sometimes these Benz cars can take a year. My EQS580 took 14 months from order to delivery. That's why I kept my Lucid order - in case that arrived earlier, And also even now I have the Lucid deposit in case I get bored of the EQS. Always makes sense to have options.
