EQS SUV's at dealerships
The dealership in Reading PA has five in stock, 3 580's, and 450's:

I doubt any of those units are at the dealership and will not be there for quite some time. Mine is 900 serial units ahead of those and still sitting in Alabama for some reason.

And BTW, my dealer (in Lancaster, PA) has a black w/tan interior 450+ in stock and ready to go. He didn't say if more are on the way. I find it interesting that mbusa.com offers no way (yet) to find these cars online.

I know people say the economy is not great right now, but these dealers are confident they can get 10-15K markups on 120-140K SUVs with no problem, which is pretty crazy if you ask me.

They don't release in order. My local dealership has one with serial number like 3500 in stock but the one with serial number 430 still isn't.

I paid MSRP for our EQS 580 SUV and got a good deal on our trade. There are still actual 'dealers' out there so be patient and be willing to walk away from those 'Market Adjustment' BS mark ups.

There's already hundreds arrived at dealerships, and most didn't arrive with a customer on them because they've built very few customer order cars yet. Production until a few weeks ago was what MB calls "showroom units" or "market launch vehlicles", which are pre configured by them and distributed to be used for test drives or early sales. So if you look online now you'll see about 10 or so common specs that most cars are one of. They build 100 or a few hundred of one particular spec and just distribute them to dealerships to be the first to arrive.

The SA said MB shipped these five allocations to the dealership automatically, they were not customer orders. If your build includes all the options, you may be correct that something you optioned is holding up the build.

There’s just no rhyme or reason to it. They have the 1000 (making this number up) cars at the VPC. They’re just releasing every one they can when a truck is available. They aren’t parked in order of serial number.

I got a call from Autobahn Motors in Belmont, CA and they are selling their EQS SUVs for MSRP for all the ones on the lot this weekend. I believe they have Twilight Blue/Neva Gray 450+ (3 I think?). Message me if you want my salesperson's info.
That said, I'm buying mine from Autonation and they only do MSRP on 450+. No haggling!

True. My dealer thinks late October. It’s just frustrating since I put a deposit down on June 1 2021 and the car was built on 20 July to see it sit for so long. Meanwhile Mercedes increased the price and I lost the $7500 EV credit since I put my deposit down.
