I love my car (580 SUV). almost 7.5K miles and 6 months of ownership. Nothing major wrong so far. Only thing is a few glitches with the Navigation which got resolved with a software update by the dealer. Only on-going issue is that sometimes my Android auto drops the connection or does not connect over wifi and I have to connect my phone using a usb cable. Annoying, but in the scheme of things this is so far the most reliable and solid MB I have owned.
So far range is not up to the advertised 285mi, I am more at 240-250 mi, but I bought on 10/31 so most of my ownership has been in cold weather so far, so hopefully will get closer to advertised range in the summer months. But our family did a 1400 mile road trip through West Texas and New Mexico and March and did just fine with EA and other brand chargers within easy range of everywhere we went.
Build quality is amazing. There is no competitor. Reliability.... well, that's where the "Don't do it!" comes. I might had to worst luck with it, but at this point, I'll take a Range Rover over this.

I have 580 SUV as well and it's been only few weeks so far but car's range estimate has been over EPA rating. It shows ~330 miles at 100% charge and usually the consumption seems to match it. It is a nice 75F here though and my driving is either roads that are 30-40mph or highway at 65 so I guess it is really the ideal conditions. In the upcoming weeks I have a trip which would require climbing to a pass and going down again so we will see how that goes.

I think I will even take a Jaguar or Alfa Romeo over the EQS
Do you guys park your EQS in the garage? Anyone that doesn't due to concern of fire risk?
What makes you think fire risk is more then any other car? I had a Nissan Murano years ago that actually had a recall due to fire risk and was advised to not park in a garage. There is no such recall for Eqs.
I read a report recently from consumers reports I think that stated you are actually more likely to have a fire in an ice car than a EV. Both had extremely low probability of that happening.

I couldn't find said study but there are studies comparing vehicle fires in general and EV's have significantly lower numbers when data is normalized. If there was an increased risk, your home insurance company wouldn't let you have the car in the garage anyway.

Not sure of the source but a quick google search reveals numerous articles stating EV’s have a significant lower rate of fire compared to ice cars.
I park and charge in my garage. Lithium fires are no joke but until there is evidence that my car, my mobile phone, my laptop etc. is very likely to go up in flames, I sleep fine at night.
