Scheduled pre-heating / ventilating issue

Scheduled pre-heating / ventilating issue
I run into a new issue - apparently scheduled pre-heating / ventilating is not working for me. I have everything setup in the mobile app, but the car does nothing. Manual initiation of pre-heating does work.
Anybody else having the same issue?

1) open mercedes me app
2) open pre-entry climate control
3) open at departure time
4) add schedule (mon-friday scheduled at 8.24)
5) click done, ensure that the added schedule shows toggled on switch in the app
6) close the app
i got it to work on *first* scheduled day, but for subsequent days nothing happens (i.e. the car does not start pre-heating). the mercedes me app shows schedule correctly.

Those setting seems normal. On Step 5 the Save at the top right of the screen also has to be selected, but your screen shot suggests it should be active. .Have you tried setting it for just one day.

ps. you do not have to wait for one for the next day to see if the the one-day test works, just set it for 30 minutes into the future. There should be notification from the app about 10 minutes before the departure time. It can also be manually set by sliding the bar at the bottom from Deactivate to Activate.

Just unbelievable!!!
Mercedes fixed "something" on their side and as a result, pre-entry climate control is always on in the app, and can not be turned off !!! this makes the whole function unusable, because it can't be set on at all (although the app says it's on it's not at the vehicle). How can $180K car be this buggy?????????

Climate control is active in that screen shot as the fan is active and the Active slider at the bottom is in blue. Tap or slide that button to the left so that Deactivate is in blue. If that is what you cannot do then maybe closing the app and restarting may help. Worst case uninstall and reinstall the app.

Is there any indication in the car that it is active, eg, the fan or heating/cooling is active when you first enter the car after it has been locked?
Seems that there is 2-way communication between the car and the app, and the car is setting the activity. I will try and explore the Settings in the car to see if there is anything related.

I can neither set a schedule or manually precondition. I picked the car up Monday the 01-22-2024 and it worked till yesterday. I’m assuming I need to go back to the dealer for this.
ETA: my Mercedes Me app has lost all contact eith the car. I called them and they opened a ticket. I can't see SOC, lock doors or PECC.

I have an opposite issue. I don't have pre condition set in the app or in the car. I verified it. Yet, after opening the driver door and sitting down, I notice the fan start to blow. I have not started the car either. This occurs on a warm sunny 72 F day when the inside of the car is slightly hotter. I can't complain but wonder why it is doing it without the corresponding setting.
