Storage case for Lectron Vortex NACS-to-CCS1 adapter
Lectron does not provide a storage case for its NACS-to-CCS1 adapter. I ordered a GoPro camera case on eBay and it works reasonably well since the soft case can expand a little to accommodate the adapter. It also fits nicely into the water bottle cavity in the rear door panel.
Have you tried to use the adapter on the supercharger station yet?
I can't do that until MB announces access to Tesla Superchargers. I am expecting a required software update too. I ordered the Lectron Vortex adapter early since there is likely to be a long wait for the adapter offered by MB. I would not be surprised if MB gives priority to customers taking delivery of its 2024 EVs.

I'm hoping Mercedes Benz will give all their EV customer a free adapter like Ford did so i don't have to buy it.
I'll wait to see if MB offers a free adapter. I'd be surprised if they don't.
We can't use the Supercharger network anyway until a deal is finalized.
I would be surprised if MB provides the adapter at no cost. It's not in their DNA.
When the adapter is finally available, it will probably take at least six months to get one. Assuming MB offers a private labeled version of the Tesla adapter, the demand could easily overwhelm the production output since Tesla will be supplying several different car manufacturers. For owners that make a lot of road trips, access to the Tesla Superchargers sooner rather than later will be much appreciated.

I bought a Mercedes Benz wallbox on Ebay for $750 only to find out 2 week later that Mercedes is giving away a free Wallbox which I received one for free within a week. Now i have an extra wallbox sitting in the garage. So i'm hoping they will give a free adapter which cost nothing compared to the wallbox. I think once they finalized the deal with Tesla they will offer the free adapter to their EV customers. If they want to continue to sell EV than they should.

Not quite true. Some Tesla Superchargers have the 'Magic Dock', which let you charge a CCS vehicle (using the Tesla smartphone app). You can use the Tesla app to find them.
Hello-
I have a Tesla so I have the app but am unable to find the Magic Dock locations in the app. Can someone advise please?
Because the Tesla app knows that you have a Tesla (rather than a car with a CCS adaptor), it shows you *all* superchargers - not just those that have the Magic Dock. To see (only) the superchargers that have the Magic Dock, you have to tell the app that you have (only) a CCS car.
