Same source as the pic below indicates that "although the EQS looks to be similar in size to the mid-size CLS, the interior space should be on par or better than the full-size S-Class." We'll see if they turn out to be right.

They are probably confusing it for the EQE. Both cars look the same just different length. Obviously a prototype test car wouldn't have any badging to indicate whether it is EQE or EQS.

Some more updated pictures of the S-Class in this article. Looks gorgeous. I think it is going to be much sportier and more modern looking than the W223. I love the rear design and the tail lights. The front is where I have some concern.

Plus it sounds like it is raising the game on tech as well. I'm looking forward to the hyper screen reveal tomorrow.

The camo is beginning to come off the test mules. Hyperwheels look interesting.

Thanks for posting. If those wheels end up in production, I wonder if they might offer a few colors to match selected body colors.

They look to be more aerodynamic than most regular wheels. EV companies need to tweek everything they can in order to increase range.

they are more aerodynamic to extend range. All EVs have them as standard.

It looks like Mercedes is also offering sport wheels (not range extending) for people who care more about a sporty look. The blue camo car above has the sporty wheels. Hyper wheels usually look lame, but these are not too bad.

Interesting. If they can integrate this into the dash without it looking "slapped" on could be cool.

Wonder why they couldn't get those vents stuffed in there? Kind of ruins the vibe with the giant nipples protruding the way they are Are they directional? Are they fixed upward?

Not a piece of beauty for sure.
Not a fan of the rear window but what you see is the result of the car being a hatchback, followed by the usual piece of metal roof and then the pano roof. So a very similar roof design to the S-Class with the additional split for the rear hatch...

Seems like a suboptimal design to me. Could have made the glass roof longer to eliminate the metal band and have the glass panel meet the hatch. That's the way it is done on the AMG GT63 and on the Porsche Panamera.

Maybe it's some kind of deployable roof spoiler

Could have just given us a metal roof with a proper moonroof.
