The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The EQS is far better looking to my eye.

My take on the Lucid Air is that it looks like an extremely well engineered EV and may well be the best luxury EV on the market. But here are some things to consider, if you buy a Lucid Air and have a fender bender, how long will you have to wait for parts or service? If you buy a Mercedes EQS you likely have a shop in your town who will service or repair it if needed. You may never need service or repairs as a Lucid owner but I would rather deal with an established company that has dealerships everywhere. That's worth something to me. That said, I wouldn't fault anyone for wanting a Lucid product. After all, Mercedes had to start a new at some point, every company does.
Accessibility to experienced trained service people is critical.

We cannot trust the reviews of Lucid until the European press reviews it. I have found Autogefuels review of Tesla cars to be very accurate and fair.

We don’t care for black in our garage.
My first Benz, a ‘71 300 SEL, was two-toned - black over cream. Loved that car, drove it 105,000 miles.
