2022 EQS Sedan Order Guide
I did not ask about rear screens or executive seat package since I don't want either. I did spec heated rear seats. I don't see any mention of rear seat entertainment in the ordering guide. I hope it is not standard.

Changes I noticed:
- ED1 ordering process will be announced in May.
- Renderings of the paints.
- New AMG Line vs. Mercedes-EQ Styling Comparison page.
● Added Natural Grain Brown Walnut Dashboard & Door Trim (H12) to EQS 450+
● Corrected Executive Trim (DY2) description to include memory for rear seats
just noticed that there are still no prices in the MB build configurator for the 2021 S class. Does this mean that we will not see any prices on the EQS in the configurator until next year?
You do go in blind, but if the pricing ends up being a shock, you can always back out (if you don't have a non-refundable deposit).
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
For the W223 S-Class there is partial pricing in this DOG
https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...er-guides.html
Now if by special order you mean a Designo Manufaktur order because you want custom paint or custom leather, then you would need to get individualized pricing via your dealership.
Changes I noticed:
- New hero image on the first page showing black interior.
- New option: D10 - Rear Lip Spoiler (EQS is already equipped with a rear lip spoiler as standard equipment, D10 spoiler sits on top of factory spoiler and is larger/more pronounced.)
- Headliner code for 229 - AMG Line Neva Grey / Sable Brown upholstery corrected from 55U Grey to 59U Grey. Looks like this was just a typo correction and not anything new.
Mercedes is also offering the option of DRIVE PILOT, which is an SAE Level 3 conditional automated driving system feature. This would allow hands-free driving. Regulations in Europe prevent that level of automation to be deployed in production vehicles on public roads. However, Källenius told media in Germany on Thursday that the company is on “on the verge of trying to certify the first volume production car Level 3 system in Germany in the second half of this year,” Automotive News Europe reported.

Look at how much better the 580 looks without the black trim around the windows IMHO, (SCROLL TO THE TOP OF PAGE). Maybe it is black trim only on the White paints.
Also with this latest update are they saying the configuration shown in this image is now only available in an AMG Exterior DG1. Meaning the lower front grill would be that all black and no more chrome gills?
