EQS owners impressions

Im always surprised how few go for Selenite gray magno. Its the best looking (IMO thats why MB uses it on all their AMG promotions) and best paint Mercedes has to offer (virtually indestructible). It also happens to be the easiest paint to maintain. Well worth the extra 3k for looks and functionality. Its also comment magnet

Every close up I've seen of the HS shows it covered in dust.....just like in the OPs photo! The joys of cars, dust and static. Add to that the joys of finger prints and I think its would drive an obsessive car cleaner like me mad!!!.......this is all irrelevant though as EV's have no appeal to me at all......looks cool though and I don't doubt its a great car.
Hope you have the best of luck and enjoy it.

Got me curious actually, how close is it to cavansite blue (or lunar blue in USA)?

I agree, the blue looks great! That's the color of the 450 I drove. Im not a fan of black on black interors, something has to break the monotony. Luckily the AMG black has gray tones for contrast

Great shots, this is the first time I've seen Cardinal on an AMG-Line EQS (other than EQS 53's). Looks great!

I'd have to have the two lineup up next to each other, but I'd say they're probably within 90% similar, maybe Nautical is a bit brighter in lighter settings but essentially for those that liked Lunar, this is pretty much the same.

What are you guys doing to me? I love blue, that was my color if I ordered. The 580 I picked is Obsidian black. Very elegant, but I still have the blues....

Question for the owners: did anyone look at vampire drain with the Merc? Bjorn Nyland reported a 5% drop overnight when left unplugged in very cold weather. I lost 2% today during office hours. The Taycan would not drop at all, Tesla drops but quite a lot less. Please chime in, need to know if I need to worry about it....

Remember, the car is always "alive" even when off. Maybe it was "conditioning" the battery. Another thing that is notorious for drawing battery in air suspension cars is if there are any leaks, very doubtful given that the car is brand new. Just keep an eye on it.

I'll start a list of things I miss from Taycan / Tesla - feel free to chime in
1. Remote start of heated seats / heated steering wheel. The Taycan was pretty good with that (when it worked - my car was in the shop over 6 weeks to fix the remote communication issues). All 3 Tesla's were flawless on this.
2. Have to push start / stop button. Why? I understand the rationale for ICE (don't want to release exhaust fumes inadvertently) but what is the reason in electric cars? If I am seating in the driver seat and push the brake, should the car not assume I want to drive?
3. Rapid heated seats. The car I picked does not have them. For those living in cold area, order them....
4.
Actually, I cannot come up with a fourth item. The car is fabulous and drive amazingly well. Love it.

2022 Mercedes EQS 580
It’s interesting that the US EQS has limited options versus the German one. To give a couple of examples some of the show cars last April had:
1) Burmester 4D high end audio (more speakers more watts). Not an option on US builds
2) Rear seat entertainment (also not an option)
3) Rear window shades which worked with the nap mode. Also not an option.
