My EQS450 SUV is built quite well. No squeaks or rattles so far (~1500km) and I am very picky. Only issue is the passenger door is slightly misaligned, so the interior illuminated trim that runs along the top of the dash is not perfectly aligned at the A-pillar. Has anyone else had this? I am currently waiting for a dealer to confirm how big of a job it is to align the door.

That looks like the door needs adjustment. Some dealerships will do that, others will blow you off. My hood was not adjusted even on both sides, so I opened turned the adjustment screws stands, and it is now perfect for the OCD'er in me. Another trim that are not quite align is the rear passenger driver side door trim and the last rear trim. Since mine is chrome, you can see it more easily. However, I have looked at a bunch of other EQS, and it's the same. It's off by about 1-2mm.
