EQS 580

I had my first chance to touch and feel an EQS 580. I wasn't sold on the HyperScreen but playing with it in person may have changed my mind. This was a customer ordered car that backed out so I didn't even bother looking at it before now. It's a rainy day here so I don't want to take it off the showroom but I'll get it out later this week and compare it to my experience with the EQS 450 for those who are curious how the two compare.

Another crappy day here in Cincinnati so I'll be waiting at least one more to get this outside for an EQS 580 vs 450 comparison.

Glad to finally see pics of my chosen interior. That is walnut, correct? The red looks great.

This one has the Natural Grain Anthracite. I haven't been a huge fan of Cardinal Red on most cars but it really does look great on the EQS. I'm pretty shocked it's still here.

Actually Im glad its antracite, I was starting to think that the walnut was going to be too dark. I really think that anthracite makes the interior too monochromatic "black".For my taste.....

For all the clamoring I saw here for people to get their hands on a EQS580, I thought this would be gone within a day of becoming available. It truly is a good looking one!

If I was there, and had not already bought, I'd be driving that one home.

EQS’s are sitting at dealerships because of ADM. There are tons of 450s sitting at dealerships all over the US and I am surprised that some dealers are still asking for ADM. I bought a 450 until I get an allocation for my 580 order but when I was looking for an EQS I was surprised at the size of the ***** on some of these dealerships.

I've heard a lot of the same. We're MSRP on the EQS but will admit, some vehicles like any AMG car or a GLS is going to have a ADM here.
